Privacy Policy

Plantel LLC. Effective October 8, 2026

Plantel LLC ("Plantel," "we," "us") provides workforce management software to construction subcontractors ("Customers") for managing their workers ("Workers") and job applicants. This policy explains what information we handle, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we handle

  • Information you or your employer provide: name, mobile phone number, email, city and state, job application answers (trade, experience, availability), and work records your employer enters (job assignments, hours worked).
  • Text-message consent: whether you agreed to receive work text messages, when, and the exact consent wording you saw.
  • Basic technical information needed to run and secure the service (for example, request logs used to prevent abuse).

We do not sell personal information.

How we use information

  • To provide the service to the Customer you work for or applied to (hiring, scheduling, time records, payroll records the Customer prepares, and invoicing).
  • To send you text messages from Plantel about your work, only if you agreed to receive them.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Text messages (SMS)

  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver our messages (such as our SMS carrier provider), solely to send the messages you agreed to receive.
  • What you'll receive: text messages from Plantel about your work: work schedules, job-site start times, clock-in reminders, payday notices, and work announcements (like job-site closures or safety meetings). No marketing.
  • Message frequency varies, up to several messages per week.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • To stop: reply STOP at any time. For help: reply HELP or email bryan@plantelapp.com.
  • Agreeing to texts is optional and is never required to apply for or keep a job.

Who we share information with

  • The Customer (employer) you work for or applied to, who controls their account.
  • Service providers that help us run Plantel (cloud hosting and database, SMS and email delivery, payment processing), only as needed to provide the service and under confidentiality obligations.
  • When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of people and the service.

Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including login-protected access and encrypted connections. Highly sensitive data (such as Social Security numbers and bank account numbers) is not stored on our servers in readable form. We keep information while the Customer's account is active or as needed for legal and record-keeping requirements.

Your choices

  • Stop text messages any time by replying STOP.
  • To ask about, correct, or delete your information, contact your employer or email us at bryan@plantelapp.com.

Children

Plantel is for adults. Job applications require applicants to be 18 or older.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the latest version.
