Text messages from Plantel

Plantel LLC sends work text messages to construction workers who use the Plantel worker portal. Every message starts with "Plantel:". No marketing.

Who sends them

Plantel LLC, a Texas company that makes crew and payroll software for construction subcontractors. Texts go only to hired workers who agreed to receive them. Never to job applicants.

What they are about

  • Work schedules
  • Job-site start times
  • Clock-in reminders
  • Payday notices
  • Work announcements, like job-site closures or safety meetings

How workers opt in

In the Plantel worker portal, under "Text messages from Plantel", the worker enters or confirms their mobile number, checks the box, and taps Save. Texts go only to that number. The box is never checked for them, and saying yes is optional. It is never required to get or keep a job.

The "Text messages from Plantel" opt-in box in the Plantel worker portal. The box is not checked.

The exact words the worker agrees to:

I agree to receive text messages from Plantel about my work (schedules, job-site start times, clock-in reminders, payday notices, and work announcements like job-site closures or safety meetings). Message frequency varies, up to several messages per week. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. (Optional.)

The worker portal after tapping Save: the box is checked and a confirmation is shown.

After the worker taps Save, the portal confirms it and Plantel sends one welcome text:

Plantel: You are signed up for work texts (schedules, start times, clock-in reminders, payday notices, work announcements). Up to several msgs/week. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.
